The fuck outta here. Yes, supply/demand. What the market will bear. It’s their product, I don’t have to buy. Blah blah blah. Make the fucking thing in China, you know 99% of us really don’t give a fuck. That is one of the most ignorant things I have seen posted here. I don’t think the 99 % figure is any where near accurate either. The fact you don’t care if shit is made in china as long as you save a few bucks? This is why we owe chine so much $$ This is why our economy is in the tank. The jobs destroyed here at home? The family’s struggling, but at least you saved a few bucks. Why is it ignorant? Just curious? Maybe I’m a prick for admitting it, but I’d hardly call it ignorant. Okay, an HONEST 80% don’t give a shit about anything other than saving money. Or is so much of the stuff we buy outsourced for no reason? jimlostt [Member] 9/15/2011 2:02:56 PM My type 56 made in China by either slave labor, or 10 year old kids sure does work well. I really doubt that China got all the jobs and manf in the world by making nothing but junk. WE SCREWED UP OUR OWN MANF. I worked in a manf company that went to Ireland in the early 90s. Now it is in India. Make it cheaper to do biz in the US and the US will actually make something again. hellbound

The first thing I noticed while taking the sight apart was how filthy it was inside. Dirt, dust, metal shavings, dried old grease etc…The diode is held in place by cheap black electrical tape. The windage and elevation screws just push the plastic tube shown, small metal leaf springs counteract the movement. These springs are just held in place by friction, once I removed the inner tube they fell out. WasatchAR<br>

1/25/2012 3:42:56 PM I used to swear by the old Leupold one piece base, then migrated to the dual dovetail one piece base. I’m now on to picatinny types for some guns as it’s an easy switch to use another scope for a purpose. I like to keep a backup scope or two around in Scope Rings . I do the same with Leopold QRW’s but the two peice bases on sporter rifles aren’t uniform in Scope Ring spacing so they’re not as transportable. The picatinny rail fixes that. On some rifles I want the scope as low as possible or as light as possible so I’ll skip the picatinny. As LW said, options. glazer1972 [Life Member] 1/25/2012 5:18:09 PM If I only want to use one scope with one rifle I use Talley Lightweights if they make them. 98_1LE
